Re: UKing Mini Moving Heads

actually its not a big deal. it is just spend more time now on your budget fixture, which in return is your "savings". As I suggested: create a basic profile and leave Gobo and Colorwheel basic (just one gobo only and only White as color). Then find out the individual Colors by stepping th...

Re: UKing Mini Moving Heads

The problem is, eventually made profiles for chinese Movers are done after the manuals they do provide, which are mostly incorrect and not worth the paper they are printed on. That is why they mostly do not work on Wolfmix! I did 100s of these, even the same TYPE (model name) has unlimited variation...

Re: exclude group 'other' from fx buttons

Group OTHER is not a regular Group and should mostly assigned Strobe only or Smoke devices, to not reverve a full blown Group (A-H) for just a "switch" function, ..mostly triggered by one of the Flash buttons. I do have similar setups with Dimmer packs from time to time. As they are mostly...

Re: WTOOLS and 2.0.4 FW issues?

I understand. For me WTOOLS 1.6.1 is running quite stable. WTOOLS 1.6.0 was terrible and didn't refresh the Cloud folders etc, so they quickly launched 1.6.1! Using 1.6.1 now since 5 or 6 weeks on both of my Wolfmixes and flip flop firmware from 1.2.6 to 2.0.4 constantly on both units. If you think ...

Re: WTOOLS and 2.0.4 FW issues?

USB is indeed a bit more complex, particular when "asking" for power. No doubt that the latest and greatest laptops have way more power as Wolfmix is required. The question is: Will it GIVE the (higher) power to the port? To get more power as the "standard 500mA" out of a USB por...

Re: WTOOLS and 2.0.4 FW issues?

I have heard "similar" reports that after upgrade 2.0 strange things can be seen with WTOOLS. There was recently an (internal) discussion whether 2.0 is requiring (just slightly) more power from the Computer USB port as previously delivered, and with that may exceed the level where Wolfmix...

Re: MarsLite BeamBar 8 red Laser.

So, the MOVE FX are based on the default profile values. No, the FIXTURE is following the Default values, if not given different by any activation of a button or knob in the profile. Do NOT MESS AROUND with "Random", Index", "Snake" and whatever, UNLESS you know exactly wha...

Re: MarsLite BeamBar 8 red Laser.

I could see that you have LIMITED your SPEED to a very hight number as default. This makes it extreme(!) slow.
Edit your Profile again and set your SPEED Default to 0 !!

Re: MarsLite BeamBar 8 red Laser.

Please keep in mind that the "translations" or descriptions in the manuals are not always matching the exact function in order to implement it 1:1 into a Wolfmix profile. You DO NOT have to configure one PAN and one TILT channel (because you only have ONE "TILT" channel. So you o...
