I faced a problem with 'ROBE robin 800 led wash' fixture while working with my Wolfmix MK2.
Here is a problem
I downloaded a fixture profile. I checked it in EasyView - everything worked fine.
In the venue 4 of those washes were on 2nd universe. When I connected, it worked wierdly.
It didn't react to a dimmer value and to color settings changes. It was white all the time. Color/beam FX - no response.
It reacted to a B.O. button, but didn't react to MAIN value change.
I can't remember exactly, but seems it also sent some weird data to other fixtures on the 2nd universe which I hadn’t patched yet at that point)
It did however react to position and Move FX
The addresses were correct - I double checked it with the patch on a venue's Avolites PC Suite (the washes worked correctly while controlled from Avo)
It is not an output xlr issue - I set all for output to a 2nd universe and tried all 4 of them - no succes.
If it is a profile problem then it wouldn't work correctly in EasyView. But it does work correctly.
I also thought it could be a firmware issue so it outputs the 2nd universe incorrectly, so first I updeted the firmware (though I had a newest version installed) - no success, and then I factory reset the W1 - no success.
Since I was time limited I couldn't check if other fixtures on a 2nd line responded correctly.
I have simple pars at home, so I checked if W1 controls them properly when set on a 2nd universe - and it did (set them on channels the washes had - everything is fine)
I have no idea why this happens and what to do.
That was my first show since I bought my W1, and it didn't work.
