Can't find this problem on the forum so I started a new topic.
I can't connect to my computer since a couple days. before it worked fine. this is what I already tried:
Other cables, powered and non powered hubs, resetting, updating wtools, removing wtools, tried on windows also, startup key combinations (maybe I did something wrong),...
Is there any way to update the firmware with an usb stick?
does anybody have the fixture library that I can put back on the wolf with usb stick?
Wtools: 1.5.5
firmware Wolf: 1.2.1
Mac os: Sonoma 14.7
Windows os: Windows 11
Thanks for your help!
Can't connect to Mac/laptop
Re: Can't connect to Mac/laptop
Hello,
Are you able to connect to WTOOLS by starting the controller in firmware recovery mode? This can be done by holding WOLF + SPEED when connecting the USB cable, this should then hopefully allow you to connect to WTOOLS and also to update the firmware then.
Kind regards,
Will

No luck so far.
How long should it take to connect?

Hi Peter,
It should be near instant. Just to confirm- when starting in FW recovery mode, all the buttons should illuminate green- does this happen correctly?
I'll have a chat with some colleagues and see if there are any other things I might have missed or that we can try.
Kind regards,
Will
