Played yesterday with the 2.0.4 and my Showtec Polarwash 740 heads.
I used the "AI" generate preset button and I see my zoom button (the rotary button on the live edit page) will reset every time I choose a generated preset. No matter if I only use color, move or fx preset. I understand the fx preset can be zoom related but when I activate the zoom rotary button on the live edit page 100% (beam) and choose a color preset from the generated presets, my zoom becomes immediately a wash zoom (0%). I have to push the zoom rotary knob on the live edit page again to get my zoom beam back.
So it looks like the color presets are still a snapshot and van only be stacked with presets?

Re: Live Edit Rotary Zoom button 2.0.4 behaviour
Hi Royor,
Can't you just open one of the automatically generated PRESETS, go to LIVE EDIT and change the settings of that encoder to your liking, and then "oversave" that PRESET including your changed settings on the PRESET page (with holding SHIFT)? IMO, this should solve the issue for the next time you trigger that PRESET.
If that works as intended, you can do the same for all other new ones (basically only the 20 on the first page), and then you can use those plus your beloved encoder.
Could you please give that a try?

Hello- just adding another note to this thread which might be helpful:
If you go to the Live Edit screen, hold shift, then press in the Zoom encoder- you can then press the 'Lock' symbol at the top and press 'Go' to save. What this means is that whatever value you set on this encoder will remain locked in (even through preset changes), until you go in the the Live Edit screen and make a manual change yourself. This function also applies to the Live Edit buttons.

Thank you both for your replies. I think both solutions will help me enough. Didn't knew the Lock method. This lock will help me with much more fixtures.
