Not sure if this is the proper area to report beta glitches..
I have a really odd glitch that changes default values of some fixtures that can be corrected with a re-opening of the show (so far)
For example I have a profile I made for Freedom Flex sticks with 94 channels and when first loaded everything works great but upon powering up this morning 3 of the 4 sticks had their 94th channel value at 255 resulting in them strobing. They are in my XLR B second universe output.
I also noticed a moving head I had addressed to 24 in universe one had a similar situation

Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
Hello,
Thanks for the report! Would you please be able to send over the Wolfmix project file, and also your custom fixture profile so that we can check this for you?
Kind regards,
Will

Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
It does seem like there's some weirdness in dialing in DMX channels. I struggled with that last night too.

My Rockville hazer is not working..
Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
It is a problem of Firmware 2.x! The new firmware is (currently) not able to handle the 2 SMOKE channels in a profile. And it is "mixing" the channels (when change the Fan speed, it sends a Haze Intensity value...)
Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
I found that black out & smoke everytime after booting up goes back into toggle
Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
I haven't seen it here in the forum yet (just in FB).
When I add split profiles, then I cannot change the DMX addresses. Everytime I try that, it selects all fixtures togehter and changes all DMX Channels, I cannot change just the one individual I would like to.
at first I thought it is related to and FW1.x project, but it is the same for a complete new project file.

Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
Even a "split" profile has just ONE single DMX address and the following channels have to be "linked" to meet the total channel mode of the fixture. So when you change the address of a "split" fixture, you can only change the "main" address of the whole fixture, but NOT any individual split part (as it is actually still a part of the whole fixture channel configuration).
In other words, when having a 10 channel Mode and you split between 5ch and another 5ch, the first part will have the fixture start address, but the split part will be consecutive channels (from 6-10) and can't be addressed differently, as the channels inside the fixture don't know about the different addresses. You can assign a SPLIT PART (beam) of a fixture to a different GROUP (for individual control) but NOT on a different ADDRESS. The "SPLIT" is only done on the CONTROLLER for separate control, but all channels are "united" again back inside the fixture.

Re: 2.0 Beta Glitches
Hello Axel, thanks for the feedback, I'm aware of that. My problem is another.
I have already 4 LED bars in my setup and 4 moving heads, assigned to the DMX addresses I would like to have them.
Now I add 4 additional 4 MHs with a split profile (because it has an outer LED ring, which I want to controll individually). After adding, I would like to change also their DMX addresses, so I select the fixture (the one with the DMX address, not the 2nd linked part) and as soon as I try to move it to another DMX address ALL fixtures are selected (so all 4 + 4 MHs and the 4 LED bars) and the DMX addresses are changed for all fixtures in parallel. So I cannot edit the DMX address of the Split Fixture without screwing up my complete Setup.
As I said, I started a new project with FW2.0.3 and the same fixture worked well in the 1.x.x FWs.

I've been able to reproduce the problem and have reported it for the devs to look into!86bibo wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 6:11 am Hello Axel, thanks for the feedback, I'm aware of that. My problem is another.
