For now- the auto generate Presets function will generate:
- 20 Full Presets (Colour, Move and Beam)
- 20 Colour Presets
- 20 Move Presets
- 20 Beam Presets
In it's current format- they will always be trying to achieve the same sort of effect. How this looks in reality will vary depending on the fixtures you are using, and how they are arranged in your groups. Combining the various Colour/Move/Beam presets, rather than just using the 20 Full presets is a much quicker way to achieve more 'unique' results.
That being said- this is the first introduction of this feature, and we have every intention on expanding this to greater and more customisable possibilities in the future!
Kind regards,
Will
New update coming in February?
Re: New update coming in February?
Thanks for confirming Will. I was honestly not sure if there was something I was just missing. While this is certainly a bit more limited than I was hoping for (on the generative side of things) I definitely look forward to this feature being expanded and fleshed more out in the future. There are great possibilities in those features for sure!
Saying that, there are still several other QOL additions that are quite nice!
Just glad 2.0 is finally out in the wild! Thanks for all the hard work to everyone involved!

Re: New update coming in February?
These 'intelligent' presets really are not what they were marketed to us.
They are EXACTLY the same presets for everyone, just mapped to the fixtures you have.
This isn't intelligent at all, it's just a demo template.
This is straight from the Nicolaudie press release:
"With Wolfmix Intelligence, we’re introducing a suite of powerful tools that we’ll be rolling out over the coming months and years. The first? "Intelligent Preset" – helping you create full-fledged shows in seconds!"
CREATE THE SAME SHOW AS EVERYONE ELSE, IN SECONDS!!!!!
Ridiculous.

Re: New update coming in February?
No other company offered even close to this much functionality for this price and form factor that reboots in seconds and can work all night on a phone battery and for a month in desert heat and dust. And then doubled the functionality years after release instead of forcing everyone to buy new hardware.
Some people will complain even if Tobias Rylander personally created presets specifically for their rig and event.

Really? The part about: "that we’ll be rolling out over the coming months and years"....? They delivered the first slice of this offering. They introduced it. Now they'll build upon this framework.leesinthemix wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 12:41 pm This isn't intelligent at all, it's just a demo template.

Your show is not going to be the same as everyone else's unless you have the exact same fixtures configured in the exact same way. You have 20 full function presets, and 60 presets with various color/move/beam parameters that can be combined in various ways. If my combination math is correct, you have 1330 possible looks with just layering presets PLUS you can adjust and add to those manually. I'm impressed and I come from a programming environment

Re: New update coming in February?
(Mobile DJ, 5% weddings, plan to get more into that space)
I for one appreciate the work that went into making this a now very usable board.
Subnote - I wish Easy View Connect was a lot easier to manage but I've worked in a profile so that I don't need to set up my whole system at home to do some alterations and setup some scenes.
Whilst I thought I would have a lot more use for the Intelligent Presets, it falls short of what I was hoping for. It's still a good starting point and certainly prefer it to how it was. I have used it as willm suggested, without knowing he was going to suggest it - Ran a profile, messed with the Colour/Move/Beam presets and then saved the outcome that I liked as a new Preset. It works well for what I want, certainly hoped it would be more powerful but it does a job at making it quick to demo to a client at least.
Again, thanks for the hard work and the quick updates currently.
