I m using a XDJ-XZ as dj controller with Recordbox in Performance Mode.
How can I automatically share the BPM running in Recordbox with the Wolfmix MK2? Just to be clear: not looking for tapping, the build-in mic option, sending the rca output to the wolfmix jack input or anything "analog" like that.
I just want the bpm that I m playing at to be send to the wolfmix.

There are some options, but it really depends on your use case and what equipment you are using Rekordbox with.Neighbie wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 8:41 pm I m using a XDJ-XZ as dj controller with Recordbox in Performance Mode.

If you are doing a 100% synced set and don't anticipate making a wild BPM change, then just use Ableton Link
If you want to do open format mixing, then you need an external mixer that can output MIDI Clock like some of the DJM mixers, because MIDI Clock Out is not a feature within the Rekordbox software itself.

Sorry I just realised that the XDJ XZ has Pro DJ Link built in.
If your laptop is a mac, then you can use a piece of software called BeatKontrol, which is the introductory version of ShowKontrol.
ShowKontrol and BeatKontrol can convert a Pro DJ Link signal into Ableton Link and it will sync to the wolfmix in real time, but it's a mac only piece of software.

It really does work great though. You can use BeatKontrol to sync with Resolume or Grand MA3 over Timecode if you ever fancied getting really into it.
Another piece of software you can try is BeatLinkTrigger, but it isn't ideal as you can't use the internet at the same time

Re: BPM sync with Recordbox (Performance Mode)
By using Rekordbox on a Copmputer, there is the possibility to use Ableton Link, even if the implementation by Pioneer is shitty. There is a small SW developer, which does the readout of the BPMs and sents it via Ableton Link, but he doesn't update it very frequently. I think the latestest supported version is 7.0.8.
Without a Computer, I don't see any possibility yet, as no Pioneer Device supports Ableton Link via USB and I think there is also no device which have a midi clock integrated and definitelly none, which provides it via USB.
At least I don't know any hardware, which is able to connect both devices to exchange the BPMs....
