Re: 11 Months and Counting Waiting For Full Midi
Does anyone have a recommendation on a decent secondary marketplace to sell a used Wolfmix MK2 ? Unfortunately, I think we have come to the conclusion after nearly a year that this company is not making any commitment whatsoever to improve this thing to a point where we are actually going to be able to use it in a semi-professional way. I apologize to all my fellow forum mates who have suffered with us on this thing . . . but any hope of this getting there appears to be a false hope. We have already sunk way too much time in this with zero effort back from this company who does not appear to have any resources or will to work with us on a reasonable midi implementation. If anyone has an offer for this unit leave me a note. Best of luck to you all. -- Jeff

Incredibly frustrating.
A click glance at their instagram shows they certainly have the will and budget for constant marketing, but not for development.

PLEASE ADDRESS MIDI ISSUE ALLOWING FOR MIDI CONTROL OF STROBE/WOLF/FOG + live edits. Incredibly frustrating

Wolfmix folks - can you tell us if this minor change will be made or what? If you cannot midi implement strobe/wolf/blinder I am going to sell the unit. The fact there is just silence on this issue is irritating. I have to think you would have anticipated this during development, which makes me wonder if it is even possible given your firmware. People would like to know one way or the other, thanks,

Hello,
We currently have no further updates on this topic unfortunately. As mentioned in previous comments- MIDI was only ever planned to be for preset triggering and MIDI clock. Expanding this to other features will definitely be discussed going forwards- but I can't personally guarantee if or when this would be.
As and when there is any news on this, it will of course be posted here in the forum but until then- I'm afraid there is little else of value I can add to this particular thread.
Kind regards,
Will

It's so boring Will.
Wolfmix NEVER communicated what they were planning for their MIDI implementation with the community before they released the MK2, so please stop treating everyone like fools and projecting the falsehood that you did.

Re: 12 Months and Counting Waiting For Full Midi
The original lack of good requirements leading to the botched mk2 rollout of MIDI was disappointing and frustrating. Much more concerning, though, has been the company's reaction to it. Everyone makes mistakes or comes up less than perfect but the good companies use feedback from their customers as constructive and end up better for it. I would be hard pressed to find a more contemptuous and demeaning approach in substance and communication than what we are getting here. First, they try to carve out a seemingly legalistic argument that "we never promised anything but midi for presets and the midi clock" partly in response to a question about their global functions: strobe, blinder, wolfmix fx, etc. which are really their company "presets" (we didn't use that exact word). In similar fashion the "user edits" which are not called presets but really act as a preset and components of presets were not specifically shared as a part of the midi deployment, but then again this company doesn't share any of its plans. In an earlier part of this same thread they suggested that the development team might get mad if they dared expose any of the their product plans. It becomes awkward and embarrassing watching these guys get defensive when their customers suggest things that are common sense, practical and self evident . . . and then suggest that your common sense was amiss, off subject or extra demands on what they originally planned (but just wouldn't tell you).
It looks like this is now bleeding into new sales where people think that they are buying a product that they can integrate with their existing productions but failed to get the full "deets":

This whole process is not heading in a productive direction and everyone involved is going to suffer for it and then be told "these are not the droids you are looking for"
