Connect with Logic Pro X

Hello,
I want to use Logic Pro as a midi controller for my wolfmix.
I want to be able to get Logic to send out a Midi signal to my wolfmix to select a preset. With my band we use Logic as our main backing track system.
This would allow us to make our own lightshow that is in sync with the backing track.

Unfortunately, I have not succeeded in doing so. Do I need extra hardware? Is there a setting that i'm missing? Any help would be great!

You can NOT connect your Logic Pro X (Mac) DIRECTLY to the Wolfmix using just a USB cable!
You need to have a MIDI Interface on each side - one for Wolfmix, the other for Mac - then connect MIDI IN-to-MIDI OUT both directions with (traditional) MIDI cables between the 2 Interfaces.
