Hello everyone,
I#m thinking about buying a Wolfmix to switch from Daslight to a simpler and more automated lighting controll. 90% I use it for DJing with Rekordbox and have also the Rekordbox lighting option (FLX10). So my idea was, to switch to RB lighting and this is able to fullfill 70% of my needs, but the contrlo of ambiente lighting and MH gobos/prisms is quite poor, but it would work. My main issue is the usage of my LED Bars (Eurolite STP 14 & 15), my Discoball (Eurolite B40) and my Blinder (Eurolite ABL). I don't used them all the time, but I don't want to loose them completely and also would like to activate/deactivate them on demand. So my idea was to use Rekordbox in the first place to controll the Moving Heads, Bars, etc. and also take care of the color control, but the MH gobos and prisms as well as the controll of the before mentioned FX fixtures should be done by the wolfmix and in that case also the controll of the ambient light and the Fog/Haze.

The Wolfmix has the option to use one DMX plug as DMX-In and with the DMX throught function to not influence the channels which should be controlled by Rekordbox. But I have 2 questions:
1.) Can I assign the fixture (e.g. Moving Head) as well and then the Wolfmix then only sents the DMX channels, which are not set on through and ignores the others or is it in that case not possible to assign the fixture to the same DMX channels as they are already "blocked" by the DMX in?
2.) Is it possible to use a DMX-in channel to start scenes or set channels in the Wolfmix? (So if channel XXX has value YYY, then do AAA on channel BBB or start scene C)?
