LED Bars/Tubes

Hello,

is it possible to have LED Bars/Tubes with eg 16 pixels behave as one pixel. I want to have multiple of them mounted vertically and use beam fx to create a chase for example. I could switch the tubes to be just single color but then I can't use the pixels if I want to.

I have also run into this issue using freedom sticks. It is not currently possible to do what you are asking. However the software has the ability to flip these types of fixtures, so perhaps this could be added in a future update. I’m officially requesting the dev team look into this option.

Hello,

In the upcoming major update- each FX engine will have the option to control by Group, or Fixture type as well as the standard running order that is currently used.

This means that if, for example, you have a Dimmer chase effect set on Group A, B and C- you can choose the 'Group' linking option so that the chase starts on the first fixture of each Group simultaneously, then chases each fixture in the Group separately.

Using the 'Fixture' linking option, all fixtures of the same type will be linked so that they show the same thing. This is super useful for LED bars, if for example you want the chaser effect to be the same on multiple bars identically.

Kind regards,
Will

Wow you guys are awesome. So fixture linking the effect allows it to run simultaneously on each similar fixture, using the pixels on that fixture as the whole chase? Does the phase knob still function when doing this? So each tube/ bar can do the same but starting differently?

Also for the OP’s question, could you use this with a static color and phased beam effect to have each bar light up as a whole unit but at a different time than each other unit?
