How do I assign fixtures to specific universes?

I have set the A&B ports to Universe I and C&D to ports to Universe 2. However, I do not appear to be able to put specific fixtures into the second universe. Hence the question, How do I assign fixtures to a specific Universe?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Peter,

When in the fixture patch window, you will see the addresses of each patched fixture on the far right of the screen. The first number is the universe and the second is the start address. You can set a fixture to a specific universe via the following steps:

- Go to the fixture setup window
- Select your fixture(s)
- Turn the 4th encoder clockwise
- Eventually, you will notice that the first number jumps from "1 :" to "2 :", indicating that you are now in universe 2
- Continue turning until you reach the desired universe/address
