Hi All,

In the search for a wing with faders would you go for midi or dmx and anything simple from ADJ or Showtec with faders would work? Someone by any change got faders assigned to pan, tilt and zoom for a moving head?
options are:

DMX
American DJ Scene Setter 24 DMX controller
Showtec Easy Fade 36

Midi over usb only:

MIDI only is good for Group DIMMERS and Preset selection - currently there are no other MIDI assignments possible.

With an external DMX Fader controller you can assign every channel of your project to a Fader and overwrite the Wolfmix "automation" with a Fader value. You have to get the WLINK option to enable DMX IN on XLR C port.

Not exactly a good look when the designated forum moderator says publicly that the product doesn't have a very good implementation for the flagship feature of that product.

In fact, it's a terrible look for Wolfmix.

I use the adj scene setter and use the lower faders for pan tilt and zoom for MH’s. Works great. Looking to get akai mpc mini for Colours but I think that’s not going to work.

again, MIDI (i.e. using an AKAI APC mini as a controller) just controls GROUP DIMMERs (thru the APC faders) and regular PRESETS ( thru the APC buttons). With MIDI there is NO other DMX control possible.
