Is it possible to use all the demo project-presets with your own lights? For example, replacing the moving heads in the demo with my own moving head-fixtures?

Yes! The easiest way to do this would be to create a new project with your own fixtures and then import the presets from the demo project into your own project. To do this follow these steps:

- Open the project that you want to import the Presets to
- Go to Setup > Projects > Open
- Turn the second encoder so that it shows 'Presets'
- Select the project you want to copy the Presets from (i.e. the Wolfmix Demo Project)
- Select 'Open' then confirm.

You should now see the Presets list has been populated with all of the Presets from the Wolfmix demo project!

Hello, New wolf mix user. I am just figuring out the programming and also wanted to try and use some of the presets from the demo. I somehow cleared the demo project by mistake. Is there a way to refresh it or restore the demo project?

I wanted to do the same thing, but accidentally deleted the demo project. Is there a way to restore it?

You can restore the demo project by plugging in your Wolfmix to a Mac or PC, opening WTOOLS and going to 'Settings' and then under the 'Controller' heading click 'Restore demo project'.

How do you add the presents from the demo project to my existing presets?

1. Save your Project (give it a name and save)
2. Go to HOME / SETUP / PROJECTS and select OPEN
3. Select the Demo Project - BUT DO NOT YET OPEN IT! (just SELECT)
4. Use the rotary encoder (PART) to dial to PRESETS
5. Use the rotary encoder (METHOD) to dial to APPEND
6. NOW select OPEN
You now have copied the Demo Presets into your Project!

Will the Demo Presets work with your Project? As long as you use the same or at least very similar Fixtures and addresses, eventually. If you have different fixtures and different addresses, how would you expect to see the same Preset outcome, if everything underneath (fixture and addresses involved) is different? If it is NOT showing the Presets you expect, don't be frustrated. This is normal, as you can not duplicate an effect done on a certain set of fixtures and copy it 1:1 onto another set of fixtures. This is why copying Presets is only working on rare situations.
Instead, take a look how they "did it" on the original project, and then (manually) reprogram it again using YOUR infrastructure.
