How do you clear/erase presets? It is suggested in another thread that clearing the name clears the preset but that does not work.

Works for me. Preset deletes by clearing the name.
Live edits clearing by highlight the fixture that has a dot and pressing the first encoder to clear or turn to choose all. Then clear the name.

Delete a regular Preset:
press SHIFT+ Preset button, open the Keyboard (upper right hand corner - Cursor Icon), delete the name and confirm by push flashing Preset button
(you can NOT DELETE the Preset #1 (upper left hand corner of the button pad)

Delete a Live Edit Preset:
press SHIFT+ Live Edit Preset, dial 1st encoder to ALL, push encoder to confirm, then open Keyboard, delete the name and confirm by push flashing Live Edit Preset button

Preset #1 is a "sort of" BOOT PRESET for the Wolfmix. Beside the regular Preset data it also contains (not user visible) setup data of the Wolfmix. This Preset is automatically activated every time Wolfmix is being powered ON and then initializes from THAT Preset. You can not DELETE this Preset, but you can change the regular Preset content of it.

A good idea can be to create an "All OFF" Preset. For 3 reasons:
1. When being powered On Wolfmix does not right away auto-start with otherwise pre-programmed effects & activities.
2. The Preset can be used as an "all Stop/Off" Preset during the Show
3. If creating Live Edit Presets, you want to be sure there are no other activities going on, which accidentally can also being stored in the Live Edit Preset and leads to false Preset result. Pressing this Preset BEFORE editing a Live Edit Preset makes sure there isn't anything active any more.

To create an "All Off" Preset:
* press HOME and verify NO ColorFX (blue field), NO MoveFX (green field) and NO BeamFX (pink field) in ALL Groups (A-D & E-H) are active. No button should be lit.
* Check static Color all Color Preset are DEACTIVATED (in all Groups A-D & E-H) in all Presets slots 1-5 and 6-10
* verify NO Gobo Preset is activated
* also verify NO Position Preset is activated
* Save this setting into Preset 1 (press SHIFT + Preset 1 button, (optional give it a name i.e. All Off), and confirm setting by push the flashing button again - done
