Hello! There are a few preliminary things that I will ask you to check:
1. Remove any external USB hub adapters and connect the Wolf directly to your computer. Some USB hub adapters are not compatible.
2. If you are using a laptop, be sure it's connected to a power supply and not running off of battery.
3. Be sure you're using the included USB-B cable and try different USB ports on your computer.
4. Be sure you're connected to a USB3 bus. USB2 may not provide adequate power.
5. If your computer uses USB-C. Try a single USB-B->USB-C adapter instead of a multi-adapter with several sockets.
6. Please uninstall WTOOLS and reinstall it from a fresh install file downloaded from our website:

7. Please make sure your WTOOLS is allowed through your firewall or any anti-virus software (such as Windows Defender). You could try temporarily disabling this software and open WTOOLS again to determine if this is the cause of the problem.
8. If you have a different computer available, try installing WTOOLS on that computer to rule out any problems with the computer hardware or OS installation. WTOOLS is compatible with Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.15 Catalina or later.
