Loving the new update so first and foremost, thank you!
Questions.. is there a way to exclude groups from the intelligent preset? I’ve got for example one group that’s my blinders and one group that’s front wash that I keep static that I don’t want the effects to mess with.
Which leads me to.. is there a way to map the Blinder button to an actual blinder and not make all the lights go full white? I’m assuming exclude all groups but my blinder group, but for some reason they don’t turn on at all when blinder is pushed.
Thanks again!
Intelligent Presets question
Re: Intelligent Presets question
Hello,
This is an interesting topic, thanks for raising this!
Currently there is no option to exclude Groups from the Preset auto-generation function- however it might be useful for you to simply:
- Generate your presets
- Set up your washers and blinders as you need them to be
- Hold Shift + press in the Group encoder to LOCK the group
Now, when you change Preset- those groups should remain unaffected.
Regarding the Blinder question- just to be clear on what you are requesting. You want all other fixtures to ignore the Blinder button, but your blinder fixture to respond and turn full on/white? Could you please first confirm the exact name/brand of the profile so that I can check this out for you?

Re: Intelligent Presets question
What exactly is currently happening?
- Do the blinders turn on, when you don't exclude other groups for the blinder button?
- Do non of them light up or just some?
Most probably the profile of the blinder has to be adapted for the Wolfmix. Therefore it would be good to know the exact type.
Re: Intelligent Presets question
right, as always you want to alter the profile according to your usage, if they are a bit "special".
Here we can edit the profile to split and then leave the RGB section on a "normal" Group (A-H) and assign the White channels then (for blinder & strobe) to another Group (e.g. OTHER). Now you can disable the RGB section/Group from the Blinder function and keep the "Whites" available for Blinder.

Re: Intelligent Presets question
Sorry for the delay!
Okay.. I failed to realize you could lock groups! Huge win on that one, thank you!!
So the blinder fixtures I have are Vshow BL200. They are some cheap Amazon lights but they do work. It would just be nice to instead of turning all fixtures white to just have them mapped to the “blinder” button and not take up a “group” placement.
Thanks for all the help!
