Hello,
It has been suggested to us in the past and it is will be considered going forward with Profile Builder development. If or when this will be implemented, unfortunately I can not say for certain.
For now, the 'Effect' feature can be manually assigned to a fixture. There are a couple of methods for this:
1) Edit the profile within the Wolfmix Fixture Builder.
- Go to the fixture library and find your fixture
- Select the Edit fixture button, then choose the desired Mode (if relevant)
- Select the channel you want to assign
- Press the channel icon (top left, next to the channel number and type)
- Scroll to page 2, then select Effect
- Set an Off and On value for the effect
- Save your profile and patch it into your project
2) Edit the channel assignments for a fixture(s)
- Go to Settings > DMX Values > Settings (Beam Editor)
- Select your fixture
- Scroll the second encoder to the 'Effect' feature
- Press in the second encoder and set the relevant channel
- Use the third encoder to set the DMX Min value to 0 and the DMX Max to value 255
- Use the fourth encoder to set the Off value to 0 and the On value to 255
- Repeat for any other fixtures you want this to apply to
- Back out to the HOME screen with the arrow at the top left
Hope this helps!
