Everyone is worried about when the 2.0 update will be released!! If it takes longer than expected, it's because they are presenting 2.0 update as a priority at the expo rooms before making it official on the product website!

"Beta 2.0 won't be available until summer!" <= (This comment from past Thursday) Is this true ? If that's true that would be truly a gigantic timing miss and disappointing. That wouldn't be weeks, that's months! Yikes, hope that isn't true. That would be a nasty hit to this company's credibility

Not what we want but on the other hand a rushed out update with a lot of problems and bugs isn’t wished either so a little extra time to get something good isn’t a big problem for me.

The feedback from the Prolight and Sound fair is, that it looks great, but the still have serious bugs to solve, so I'm pretty sure it will be summer earliest. And then at least additional 2-3 month before I would go on a gig with that. It's not just a small update, it is pretty much a completely new software. So it will definitely take weeks/month to solve all bugs.

Give them the time so make it work stable and great. It will not help to put presure on them which lead to a launch of a unfinished/untested update.

In the color effects there are several effects double (rainbow, chaser, ...). It would be great if you can exchange them to other effects like a lightrider or more the sparkle effects with more than 1 dot/pixel. That would (besides all the great features allready anounced) make the device even much more diversified.

I am curious if need to wait much longer since we just had this 1.2.6. Update in the past days?

Still really looking forward exploring this fw 2.0 mostly de double part of it! Not so much into the AI preset filler tho. Can be handy but mostly to explore the better live usability for busking live to music

New here, just bought after attending a demo by Gregor in Kilkenny, Ireland last week.

I've really only bought the equipment on the basis of the 2.0 update, honestly, it didn't feel like enough before that and other solutions were vying for my attention a little more.

I'm very technology focused, I've built pc's with over 30 years and have coded websites in the past (early dreamweaver days). I would very much appreciate at least a beta (or perhaps call it alpha if still problematic?) right now and I personally have no problem working through any bugs I find. I see that the Double Trouble update has been mooted since January, I think that May is far too long to be teased something and for it not to be brought to the table.

I setup all my fixtures on the night of purchase and ideally want to just use the "AI" part to save me making 80 presets myself - It's quite a boring system to have to go design lots of variation when I am just lighting up myself in a DJ setting.

Ya, I hear ya. Loud and Clear! The excitement of it all has settled down to become a dull throbbing pain. I actually bought two WMX1's because I wanted to be able to split my fixtures between 2 controllers to be able to have them do two different moves. Apparently the new software does this. I blew $1,000 dollars. I like the idea of the presets thought, I have to say that would be a real bonus. I feel like we all got played. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, but my thought is this. They launch the new MK2 Series. It really doesn't amount to much of a difference from the original, so how do you increase or promote first time buyers? Well, you introduce your software update to encourage sales. It's Marketing 101. "THE PROMISE" In the context of marketing, "The Promise" refers to the brand promise, a key element of marketing strategy that outlines the unique value a brand delivers to its customers. It's a commitment that sets the expectation for customers and builds trust and loyalty. Essentially, it's a way of communicating what a business stands for and what it pledges to deliver. (Text Book Definition) Well, I'm still waiting for the promise to be fulfilled. Even a hint! Something! Anything! It's like Christmas morning and you're waiting for goofy uncle Bill to arrive so you can open your presents. He was supposed to be here at 9, now it's 10, he phoned and said he's running late, maybe 11, Update, car trouble, 1 o'clock at the earliest. 2:30 update, Looks like tomorrow!
