Allthough the Launchpad mini MK3 is sending note#, on a certain midi channel, the Wolfmix doens't respond when being in 'midi learn' mode. Also tried the older MK2, no luck either. With my APC mini connected and Wolfmix in Learnmode it is showing note#.
I also added my Icon G-board. Had to modify it to Note# and now it works too.

I want to use the chases of the Wolfmix when performing. BPM is synced to a DJ programm. When I have to do an announcement BPM stays the same and chase will continue. I need a steady setup then. The Wolfmix is somewhere in my setup where I can't reach it while performing. That's why I bought the MKII. The Launchpad MK3 is a lot smaller than the APC mini and I already had a compact mic-stand holder for it.. I might as well couln't have bought a stand for the Wolfmix MKI then.

It's a pity the Wolfmix can't handle the Novation controllers. As a small alternative I'm thinking about using the G-Board now.
I feel for your frustrations.

Unfortunately Nicolaudie appears incapable of caring about it's customers concerns, which can be shown from no updates or improvements to the product in the previous NINE months that would help address the multiple issues being encountered by many people.
Thank you for your kind words. I also work with SoundSwitch, but this programm tends to crash on Windows. Tried several computers, and same behaviour. I usually connect my Wolfmix as a backup to the Control ONE (controller for SoundSwitch).. disconnecting USB from the Control ONE and the DMX signals from the Wolfmix will pass through the Control ONE then.

SoundSwitch is now investigating the problem.. in the meantime I want to work with the Wolfmix, and a downsized lightshow.. I like the workflow of the Wolfmix, though it is a bit limited.. but thats a different story. Midi control was also one of the shortcomings.. Just a few buttons for quick acces. I i achieved some great results with it.. but I would like more chases at one time. Adding a separate MKI Wolfmix isn't helping wih this either I found out. It only acts as a sort of controller by W-link.

I was able to connect it to an Akai MPC ONE over USB, and trigger note nr in synthesizers connected to the MPC or assign stuff to pads in the Akai MPC. (See the experiment below which I also did with the same Launchpad mini MK3)

i don't know why I can't make it work with the Wolfmix.
You have to (actively) SEND(!) the MIDI Note On or CC to the Wolfmix, so Wolfmix is (actively) receiving and store this value by using the "LEARN Mode". If you simply assign certain MIDI Notes on the Launchpad, this information then is not transferred or assigned/linked to trigger any function on the Wolfmix.

Hi, sorry for the delay. I think I tried all this. As described in my previous post: As I wasn't sure about the midi format I changed CC# to note nr. But the Wolfmix just didn't respond on it when being in 'Learnmode'.

I'm going to use the G-board with it.
