I'm happy with my setup at the moment and I'm looking forward to the new firmware. We don't use click track, but anyone who does could have a pretty comprehensive programmed light show if they wanted.
Wireless midi might be appealing to send to those lyric teleprompters. I'm always keen on slimming stuff down, having less dongles would be appealing if I need to upgrade. That doremidi one looks interesting. Here are some other midi interfaces I've been keeping an eye on.

They are selling this Widi chip as an add on. I think I'd probably wait until it was sold as a complete unit personally. I've heard some forum posts saying things don't line up well when you close the box after installing it.

This is exciting news, i posted recently about multiple midi devices but have not had any responses yetSimon wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 3:47 pm Great to hear all these clever ways MIDI is being used with the Wolf. Getting close now with FW2.0, just a few more weeks to finish some important stuff… The new FW will come with MIDI on flash buttons, a dedicated MIDI mapping screen, and better MIDI port management.
I’ve recently been playing with this device, which allows for 4 USB MIDI devices and 6 MIDI DINs to be connected to the Wolfmix. FW 2.0 will be required to get full use out of it as it exposes itself as 10 MIDI ports which I realised wasn't working perfectly in the current FW, but I’ve been having fun playing with a MIDI clock device, a synth, and two APC MINIs simultaneously. I’ll make a video once the FW is available.

i have been using lightkey with 4 controllers, (feel free to check my post on multiple midi devices for more details)
i really want to switch over to thge wolfmix but i want to be able to use the same set up i have
thanks to all the posters above in this thread, this info is beyond helpful, i play in a band and usually hand my lights over to whoever is willing to press buttons, but i may end up using s foot controller and doing it all from thre stage
