Generic Beam 230W R7

Hi,

Trying to get my Beam 230W R7s working - have been going through all the profiles and found the one that matches the manaul for mapping , however, its marked as 'having errors' and is greyed out. As such , it cant be installed.

Can you advise how I can push it to my W1?

According to my manual the DMX is as follows:

1. Pan
2. Tilt
3. Pan Fine
4. Tilt FIne
5.Dimmer
6. SHutter
7. Frost
8. Focus
9. Gobo Change
10. Gobo Effect
11. Colour wheel
12. Colour effect
13. Prism Insertion
14. Prism Rotation
15. X/Y Axis Speed
16. Lamp control and reset

Have found another profile that nearly work so maybe that unavailable one isnt too important , trying to work out why shutter doesnt work( have to do a live edit to get the shutter open) but pretty much works.

Are these the Chinese Ones ? Are they any good? Thinking if getting two ...

I’m very pleased with them. Generic Chinese version although there seems to be a lot of different ones. Very bright, clean optics and does the job very well. How well they last remains to be seen but at the price unpaid for them I’m happy if i get 2 to 3 years from them.
