Beamz Ignite 740, 45ch

Fixture not working as it should? Post it here and we'll check it out. Be precise with the fixture name as there are many with similar names.

because the profile (45ch mode) is not optimized for the Wolfmix operation.
It is configured for the 7x RGBW of the individual lenses - separated by beam assignments - but at the same time using RGBW for ALL lenses simultaneous. But it can be only EITHER OR - so the Color channels will block each other.
You have to "invalidate" the (main) RGBW channels to let the 7 individual channels run. To do this you have to edit the profile accordingly. (cloud.nicolaudiegroup.com)

Wolfmix simply isn't built to operate these fixtures correctly.
Why should we have to customise our profiles to accommodate?

Nicolaudie should build in this functionality in the settings for multi beam fixtures.

Nothing to do with the profiles themselves.

Also having the same issue with the Elumen8 Evora 740ZP.

When I select 255 Red on the main Red Dimmer, all colours of every single individual channel are set to 127.

Baffling oversight.

Hello!

As Axel rightly pointed out, there is a slight adjustment that needs to be made to this profile in order to get the best results for this fixture. If you haven't already, or are struggling to edit the profile yourself, we can even do this for you if you raise a ticket at help.wolfmix.com.

To give a bit of context:
- We have an ever growing fixture library currently over 25,000 fixtures. Our fixture library is shared globally across other brands, such as Daslight, Sunlite, Light Rider, etc.
- Fixtures profiles are made exactly according to the documentation provided by customers who request the fixture file. Depending on how the fixture is designed, this means that...
- Some fixture profiles are better suited out of the box to certain programs than others. Some profiles however will require slight tweaks to be optimised for specific programs (i.e. this case of the Ignite 740 profile for Wolfmix).
- Most importantly - our tech support team are always happy to help with tweaking fixtures to get the best results. Usually it's a simple and quick case of swapping out some channels, but we also have some handy workarounds for more complex cases too.

In the case of your Evora 740ZP, I have just created an edited profile which should work much better and uploaded it directly to your Cloud account. You can now sync this profile to your Wolfmix through the WTOOLS > Fixtures > Cloud & Computer screen, under the 'Cloud' brand. Hope this helps!

Thanks for this Will and thanks for the explanation.

I'll fire it up on L8 over the weekend and see how I get on!
