Morning guys, especially Kevin!
Yeah, my colleague Will read this thead and corrected me, too. Sorry for giving you wrong info yesterday,
I got it wrong indeed... (But at least we've all learned a lot!

)
So, everything back to the start, and then we can think about solutions, or advancements. Let's take this picture again, and this time with a corrected version of what I posted yesterday.
Below, you can see in the the screen that apears when you save or edit a PRESET:
In here, you can specifiy which info shall be saved, and which shall not:
COLOR - Enables/disables saving COLOR FX and STATIC COLORS
MOVE - Enables/disables saving MOVE FX and STATIC POSITIONS
BEAM - Enables/disables saving BEAM FX
(You will get a great example of this if you use the new "Generate Presets" function as that one will give you one page with 'full-fledged' ones including eveything, and also three pages only with COLOR, MOVE, and BEAM FX. Please make sure not to overwrite our existing presets by setting the START PAGE in the left bottom!)
As Kevin mentioned, I was also wrong about "empty PRESETS", that's not possible at all as...
The following information will ALWAYS be saved with a PRESET:
GOBOS - All states of which are active and inactive
LIVE EDITS - All states of which are active and inactive
GROUP DIMMERS will be saved in the PRESET, but you can deactivate this in the general settings
=> When you trigger a different PRESET, it will
always recall the exact state of the GOBOS and LIVE EDITS as when the PRESET was saved. (GROUP DIMMERS aside, see above.)
We're going to discuss this feature internally going forward - but always keep in mind that this is still WAY better than it was with the old version before 2.0 (where just EVERYTHING was saved)!
