Launchpad Midi and Wolfmix?

Has anyone had success with this? I have 2 different launchpads that I can’t get to work with the Wolfmix via USB.

Do I need to have Ableton?

Right now I have a AKAI mini and it works perfectly but when I plug in a Launchpad, everything lights up but I can't get anything to map to it from Wolfmix.

I don't remember if Launchpad sends MIDI in DAW mode, I use Custom Modes for this.
If you are interested I can send you my layouts with instructions.

I'm certainly interested in any help at this point. I'm a total newbie at all things Wolfmix, midi AND DMX. Learning as I go.

This will give me 192 presets at my fingertips, allowing me to use the controller for live edits, effects etc

The akai apc mini was very easy to plug and start mapping but can’t seem to get the launchpads to work.

Are they all plugged in into the Wolfmix?

Got the DoreMidi device and it works perfectly with my AKAI mini mk2s, I have 2 of them. No issues mapping or anything, just plug and play.

I want to add an additional Novation Launchpad however, when I just plug it in, the buttons on the launchpad go crazy and I'm unable to assign any mappings to it. Does anyone know if I need to do anything in Ableton to set this up? I did register the device but that's it. I'd really like to avoid Ableton if that's possible with the Launchpad.
