preset transition
Perhaps this is a silly question or one that's already been answered, but how do you transfer presets and live edits from the old version to the 2nd? I assume they're not lost. What happens to the second FX?

you can load your old project or import fixtures and/or presets.
I haven't tested this with the 2.0.4 but with the previous versions I had some issues with imported projects and deciced to create a new "fresh" one.
Of course the second FX is just not assigned to your fixtures. So all FX settings from 1.X.X are now alligned to FX1.

As mentioned already in this thread- it is indeed possible to 'load' Presets from one project file to another. The exact steps for this are as follows:
- Open the project that you want to import the Presets to.
- Go to Setup > Projects > Open.
- Turn the second encoder so that it shows 'Presets'.
- Select the project you want to copy the Presets from (i.e. the Wolfmix Demo Project).
- Select 'Open' then confirm.
You should now see the Presets list has been populated with all of the Presets from the desired project!
