For a second I thought I found it!! But to bad I thought i was able to select min & max settings for a specific channel but this isn’t possible. Is this or just min max for fine channels possible to add with an update?

Just be able to set min & max dmx for a channel of a fixture would be the solution I feel.

I don't think it is possible, as you basically reduce the "resolution". I don't think that would be according to the DMX specs. The "micros" are actually a "linked" part of the orog 8bit coarse channel and NOT a sepaerate channel per se.

I see.

Wondering if this is a behavior that is seen with more fixtures. Its so weird. I see it also in the tilt movement but in a lesser degree.

Checked it with another moving fixture and I kind of see the same jumping or stepping in the movement. Anyone else experiencing this effect?

Tried if it was possible with a simple dmx controller if it’s possible that the fine channel works against the normal
X/y channel but this isn’t possible. But maybe it’s just in the fixtures… I don’t know.

I’m a bit lost to be honest.

In the coming days I’ll try to hook up the heads to a different W1 to see if the behavior is the same! That would rule things out :)

Best case senario would be that the behavior isn’t there. I’m not sure if there could be something wrong with an move fx engine?

This video shows the movement when you turn on the pan channel in the dmx value screen. Here is the movement normal. When I use a simple dmx faderboard and move the pan it’s also normal.

Could it be a possibility that the move engine is the reason for the shaking movement?

Sorry, I can't tell. I am not the developer of the Wolfmix. I am just an ordinary user.
For questions as deep about the engine, I would -again- strongly recommend to open a ticket at help.wolfrmix.com

Oh really? Didnt knew that! Thought you were related to the team actually to be honest. Haha! Thanks for thinking with me! Much appreciated.

I made ticket indeed and send them all the video’s. It could related to the move engine actually. I hope to see that this movement isn’t there when I will connect my heads to a different wolfmix that would make it pretty clear. But we’ll see!

I’ll post the outcome of that soon. It kind of keeps me busy atm but it’s there since the beginning just started to bug me more since the lasts few days.

I've run across something like this in my programming scenes with the wolfmix...
If you have the move fx enabled on those fixtures make sure the "size" is larger than 0%
Try that and see if it helps smooth the movements.
