Hi all, been awhile! Quick question about Live Edits on the WMX1. Is there a way to make it so that when you press one Live edit button, it will turn off any other live edit buttons currently lit? I have my live edit buttons set to change the laser pattern on my Gigbar Move+, each button selects a new pattern. So far so good.
But when I press a live edit button, the previous live edit button I pressed stays lit and active. If I press 4 live edit buttons in a row, all 4 buttons will stay lit. I'd like to make it so that I can only have one live edit active at any one time, so at a glance I can see which laser pattern is selected. Possible?
As always, thanks for any help.

Yes, you can select a "LIVE EDIT RELEASE MODE" in the HOME -> SETUP -> SETTINGS page
In SETTINGS dial to LIVE EDIT RELEASE MODE and then set it from (default) OFF to either ROW or COLUMN, to "auto toggle" either the row or column of Live Edit buttons.
(beside: Why using Live Edit to control your Gigbar and not create a working profile for it instead - get rid of Live Edit completely for this fixture?)

Re: Single Live Edit button toggle?
Thanks as always Axell. That definitely gets me closer to what I was looking for, I guess a wish for the future would be to have the option to auto toggle not just by row or column but also any button.
I have a fully working profile for the gig bar, I just was not able to access all of the available laser patterns for this one fixture of the Gigbar Move +. I have the US version and in previous discussions with you here on this topic I seem to remember you having the EU version with has a different DMX spec. I believe it was your suggestion to use Live Edits to access all the laser patterns on the US version.
Normally i just save the live edit with the pattern I want as part of the preset, but every so often I like to change up the laser pattern too. The Live Edit method for controlling JUST that aspect of the gig bar works fine, it would just be easier to have a method where only one Live Edit is active at a time. Minor complaint and easy to work around though.
One last question if you don't mind. I'm trying to reorganize my presets, and I can't find a way to copy a preset from one page to another. Is this possible?

Re: Single Live Edit button toggle?
That USED TO BE working (in earlier firmware releases), sorry.
But since we have the advanced Preset Edit page (when pressing SHIFT+ PRESET #), you cannot dial to a destination page anymore, you are "trapped" just in that edit page without chance to select a destination Preset on a different page, i.e.Preset 73 on page 4of5...you can only select another Preset of the current page you are in.
A valid way to "move" a Preset to another page could be to
1. active the preset
2. now dial to the page you want to store the preset on
3. hold SHIFT and write the current active Preset to the new Preset
(4 . then you can delete the original preset)

Re: Single Live Edit button toggle?
I think what he is asking for is a "LTP" setting in the live edits that if: the first live edit is a position of "A" for all movers and the second live edit is position "B" for all movers then one live edit should release the other since only the last one hit is what is actually done with the lights (as long as there are no other conflicting attributes involved)
