ADJ Quad Phase HP
Re: ADJ Quad Phase HP
Hello Daniel, sorry for the late reply, but I haven't been active in the forum for quite a while. Good to hear, that this workaround works for you. I also ordered a Wolfmix at the weekend, so I will give it a try and have several fixtures, where the movement is realized in that way (Quadphase HP, Eurolite B40, Stairvill Beamball 100, ...). Unfortunatelly I live abroad for quite a while and have only limited access to my equipment.daniel_roth wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:17 am I have found a great unsupported solution. You have to delete the second channel in the Profile Builder and insert a Tilt Channel (Image). Afterwards the Wolfmix handles the Quad Phase as an Moving Head Device. This allows you to access and activate the Move Fx Section. The Move Fx allows you to change the speed and direction of the Quad Phase rotation to the music. For me the first Movefx Effect works great and also the Eightball Effect. Its important to do some adjustments to the effects (image). The Size controls the speed of the rotation and it has to be set between 0 and 90%. When you set it to 100% the fixture activates its Sound to Light Mode randomly, because it is part of the second dmx channel of Quad Phase. You don't want that to happen. All in all I am really happy with the solution. Feel free to ask questions. Best regards Daniel
In general it would be great if Nicolaudi/Wolfmix would support this kind of movement in the future. I think they all work pretty similar or at least, it would be not a big deal to consider that in the fixture builder.
