Re: Full Light Model number on WMX1
Hello,
The reason for this is that the Wolfmix has for each profile a set character limit of 20 characters (including the ellipsis to indicate there is a longer name than allowed), this is because the Wolfmix itself has a limited storage, but it also needs to contain a high number of fixtures on the controller. Whilst adding a few extra characters might not seem like a lot of extra storage taken up, each bit of data per profile is multiplied by the number of profiles loaded onto the controller- so this can quickly clog up the memory with the size of the library we have!
What I would recommend is that you, once the correct profile is found (I can help with this if you need a specific one but aren't sure which to choose), you press the 'Edit profile' button at the top right corner, then save the profile with a new/clearer name. This will then be stored under a new brand named 'Wolfmix', so you can always quickly access it. This will not overwrite the existing profile.
There is also an alternative method for doing this online if you prefer, I can also walk you through that if you like!
Kind regards,
Will

(quite some time ago ...) I raised already the idea to put the beginning and the end of a profile file to be clearly readable and put the ellipsis into the middle. Any progress to implement this?
