Not all DMX devices are the same. There are differences, and the Wookie 400RGB is different, as it is a Laser. Wolfmix was original built for RGB PARs and LED Bars or Moving Heads, not really as a "Laser controller". However, as there are more and more Lasers can be controlled by DMX, there is a growing "demand" to also connect these to Wolfmix (which is possible, but you want to understand the limitations which are coming with it).

The "standard" profile in the Online Library does not (auto) switch on the Laser, so you don't get by default any output at all. Even if you would get an output, it only allows you to select Colors (and (on a Laser useless) Zoom). So this profile is very limited by itself. For more versatility and control you want to edit the Profile to also be able to select the Pattern (i.e. by using Gobo select), use Pattern Rotation (using ROTATE encoder) and also auto switch On/Off when a color is selected..
This all can be established, but you need a working (optimized) Profile for the Wolfmix in order to work correctly.

The "easy" workaround is using Live Edit and create one (or more) static settings for each of the 9 channels. It could look like this:
Live Edit 1:
Ch 1 value 255 (DMX On)
Ch 2 value 65 (red)
ch 3 value 25 (pattern select)
ch 4 value 00 (standard Zoom size)
ch 5 value 0 (x-axis rolling)
ch 6 value 0 (y-axis rolling)
ch 7 value 0 (z-axis rolling = no rotation)
ch 8 value 64 (x-axis moving = middle position)
ch 9 value 64 (y-axis moving = middle position

As you can see the DMX commands on Lasers are different as Wolfmix normally would handle for LED Bars or Moving Heads like Pan/Tilt, Prism, Color Wheel and so on ... THAT is why you have to edit the profile to match the Wolfmix commands with the Laser DMX expectations.
