Feature request: Respect fade time going from a preset to itself

Here's a request:

1. I select a preset, which has a 2 second fade time. The lights transition to the preset over 2 seconds, as expected.

2. I adjust the brightness of one or more groups on the Home page.

3. I want to go back to the preset (i.e. to remove the brightness adjustment), so I press it again. However, instead of repsecting the 2 second fade time, it goes immediately to the preset so there's a sudden change in brightness of the groups I adjusted.

Fade times don't seem to work when going from a preset to itself. Is that something that can be changed?

I personally hope it’s user selectable if they do add this. Double-tapping preset buttons is how I get presets to instantly change and override the fades I use in Play mode.

Good point. I wasn't aware of the double-tap feature for overriding the fade time.

Presumably, if they implement my request (fade from a preset to itself), you'd be able to select the behaviour yourself with a single or double tap?
