Disable fixtures

Hi,

I'm running a light setup for a band, and sometimes we don't use all the fixtures, depending on the location.

Our current way of working is to delete the fixtures and create a new (temporary) project, which I delete at the end of the show again.
The problem with this is that all changes I make to this temp project are (kind of) lost.

So, ideally, I just could easily exclude/disable fixtures so that they are not considered and enable them again at the next location?
Then every change to presets, etc. will be maintained.

Is this possible? If yes, how?

Just realizing that maybe assigning these not used fixtures temporary to group "OTHER" maybe a solution ...
