Feature Request: 2 Ch Smoke is OK, but more flexible assignments would be great

Post by axell »

I have a 3 Channel Hazer, (Flash-Butrym Hazer 900 2019) where
Channel 1 is "Fog Operation" (000-127=Off/128-255=On)
Channel 2 is Fan
Channel 3 is Fog amount

Now I can create a profile Channel 1 "Other" with 2 Presets "Other", making the 2nd (DMX 191(/On) default.
Now I create the 1st SMOKE channel on Channel 2 being: FAN (000-255)
Finally create the 2nd SMOKE channel on channel 3 being: Fog Amount (000-000 Off-default / 001-255 Amount)

The profile is not working, because it is a 3ch profile which will not work within the exclusive "2Ch smoke" category, even when having only 2 Smoke channels inside of the profile. The Smoke Channels NEED to be exclusive in Ch 1 and Ch 2 only to work. It would be great if this boundary could become more "flexible". I even tried to "split" in 2 beams (Ch1=beam1, Ch2+Ch3=beam2) but they still don't work in this config.
