Re: Wlink DMX withe jw-40

You can use up to all 40 channels to control channels in you project with. Just make sure you "send" the correct fader on the correct channel by selecting the 5 buttons on the left (1=ch1-ch8; 2=ch9-ch16; 3=ch17-ch24 and so on). You can also rearrange the receiving channels for dimmer or o...

Re: Wolfmix W1 MK2 - MIDI

I was using 2x Miditech Midiface 2x2
The "In/Out" LEDs on the Midi interface helped to monitor what is "going on", seeing if the connection is established. You can also replace one unit with a cheaper USB-to-MIDI cable.

Re: Wolfmix W1 MK2 - MIDI

It depends how you connect: You won't be able to connect a Wolfmix to a computer just with a USB (A-A) cable because both the Wolfmix and the computer are MIDI hosts. Instead you need to use two USB-MIDI devices. I have attached an image of an example setup for this use case. I was using 2 (cheap) M...

Re: Adding a fixture to the WMX1 Visualizer list

Visualizer is a "different" Software so it uses different folders! On Wolfmix you have the Cloud - on EasyView you have a local folder (ScanLibrary) To add a profile to Easyview follow these steps: - Open your computer's file directory - Find the EasyViewConnect folder, then open the ScanL...

Re: icon

after adding multiple fixtures of the same model (i.e. 8x Element Hex), you then press this icon in question and select ONE of the 8 Element Hex fixtures and ALL 8 will be highlighted/selected. Same when De-select the "bunch" of fixtures.

Re: Guess the new features

No need to "guess". It is clearly communicated on the Wolfmix Webpage. Specifications and even Setup examples are updated as well as Mini Guides and their related mini tutorial videos. Summary: "Main" difference is the additional USB-A port which serves 2 functions: 1. Backup (fu...

Re: Issue with Stairville All FX Bar

I recommend to edit the (standard) PROFILE and make Wolfmix "aware" that it should control "Beam LEDs" (but PROGRAMS and not Colors) and also a Laser with Rotation etc. This can be accomplished when configure DMX Styles Wolfmix UNDERSTANDS (like Colors, Gobos, Rotations etc) and ...
