Is it already to late to place some feature requests/wishes?

To be honest, I haven't tried it in real live, but it definitelly should work.

With an external DMX Controller, there you can assign any DMX channel you want. This is not possible with a Midi Controller, at least not yet.

Would the bought universes then still be assigned to the controller or do they have to be bought again?

By using Rekordbox on a Copmputer, there is the possibility to use Ableton Link, even if the implementation by Pioneer is shitty. There is a small SW developer, which does the readout of the BPMs and sents it via Ableton Link, but he doesn't update it very frequently. I think the latestest supported...
