I use a good quality "High CRI" front-lights I keep on so people can see the band and get good photos, I also keep the lights mounted physically lower than you would normally in a theatre as ours is a blues club and the the musicians like wearing hats so there eye wold be in shade otherwis...

We use it for the live music nights at our theatre as it allows me to adapt and change the lighting to whatever the musicians that night are up to stage ! We do have "conventional" theatre desks but for live (at least for me) the wolf wins every time. I am interested however using a PC (or...

Have you tried https://open-fixture-library.org/ ? if they don't have it, they have thier own editor you can use

Hi Alex,
I guess the obvious question is ....why?

If the programmers have gone and done all the work to support OS2L, why not go that little bit further and let us see and trigger presets (buttons)

Yes, or use it beside it as a companion screen to extend its functionality.
I personally think they should open up an "API" to let the community create whatever weird and wonderful extras they'd like as a lot of creative people can now code in things like python.

We use a W1 for band nights and for slow songs want to fade (rather than snap) between presets but I can't work out how to do it!
