Can't you use that pulse the same way as the [BPM Tap] button? But maybe make the detection temporary, via key combo eg [Shift]+hold [BPM Tap] or perhaps [Live Edit]+[BPM Tap]?

Those fixtures have internal dimmer curves (nod0 - nod4) in addition to fade time by channel 11. Make sure nod0 (linear) is selected in the menu under nOdE. I haven't used this specific profile, you may need to adjust the default value for channel 11 or create Live Edit override

I've used it with a Monoprice 20,000mAh power bank. Overnight it used less than half. Also plugged was a wireless DMX transmitter.
