Bit late to seeing these new replies, but this is really great information and definitively answers my question. Thank you Will!

Re: Proper Fixture Ordering
Let me try to explain. The question is simply about sequencing, and how to achieve it properly. You know how one of the encoders controls Order? The options are left, right, outward, and inward. This is the clearest example of where proper sequencing of your fixtures really matters. But it ultimatel...

Proper Fixture Ordering
What is the proper way to order fixtures as you add them in from a blank project so that the Color FX Patterns and Beam FX Patterns function properly? There's two ways I have tried.: Method One: Fixtures added by totals — You add in each fixture type all together. 1. Moving Head 2. Moving Head 3. Up...

Re: Feature Request: Strobe Phasing
Still holding out hope that we might see this implemented in a future update! Doing 3 hour shows with the WMX1, I've noticed the strobe effect starts to lose a bit of the wow factor towards the end of the night... and that's trying not to abuse it. Adding in phasing would take the strobe effect to a...

Re: Using the blinder with RGBW fixtures
Blinder FADE IN would be a great addition! I would totally use that. As far as the white balance goes, it would be helpful if the blinder referenced WHITE from the Color Picker. Groups that have white set as (RGB 100%) could be differentiated from groups that have (RGB 0% White 100%) or (RGB 0% Whit...

Using the blinder with RGBW fixtures
When using the blinder button with fixtures that have RGBW capabilities, is there any way to map the blinder button so that it only brings the white value up to 100%, without also bringing the RGB values up to 100%? The reason I ask is because RGB at 100% doesn't make "pure white". Rather,...

Re: Feature Request - Position Selection for Blinder
Bumping this request to add more functionality to the blinder button! Specifically, the ability to customize the color of the blinder. This could be achieved within the parameters of the blinder button, or alternatively, via a custom preset with the added option to fade out after button release.

Feature Request: Strobe Phasing
Pretty self explanatory! The ability to control strobe phase in addition to strobe speed would be a useful addition to the strobe effect, especially when using multiple light heads. Rather than all of the lights strobing on and off at the precisely the same time, adding in some phasing would vary th...

Re: Feature Request: Fixed Zoom in the FX Rack
Thanks for the response! I will definitely have to give that a try. Looking forward to seeing what "easier ways" to control zoom eventually evolve into firmware updates. But for now, the live edit trick is totally sufficient! Just one of its many practical uses

Re: Feature Request: Fixed Zoom in the FX Rack
After typing this out, it got me thinking: couldn't I just create a live edit and leave everything blank except the zoom level? Turns out you can! So now I have a live edit with 0% zoom for the tightest possible beam angle, and a live edit with 100% zoom for the widest beam angle. Leaving the...
