Re: Eurolite Audience Blinder 4x100W LED

you want to "tailor" the profile accordingly to the Wolfmix controls you want to use. Most likely the profile contains just DIMMER channel types, where you actually want to use the WHITE color button to switch it On/Off. This has to be "communicated" to the Wolfmix by using the c...

Re: ADJ Stinger

The profile you are using is not optimized for use on Wolfmix and the "different" controls. The functions on your fixtures have to be assigned to the Wolfmix knobs and dialers for correct control. But the profile was made back in the days when we had old schools fader desks and not smart b...

Re: DMX refresh rate

"Other" brands with variable DMX refresh rates usually are professional consoles (Avolites, grandMA, ChamSysy, etc), which are $$.$$$ price point away from Wolfmix. And even here, grandMA - as ONE example - only has a rate between 1 Hz up to max(!) 30 Hz - not 40, other (professional brand...

Re: Martin roboscan 918 wont light up

its faster to built from scatch, because then you do it all right. channel-by-channel Where when you edit the exististing profile, you have to analyse every other channel and preset thouroughly to make sure no other glitch is in the profile and you start all over again and again. To create a new pro...

Re: DMX refresh rate

Short answer: No. Wolfmix is not in the same league as Avolites or Hog, so variable DMX Refresh rates (often) is of no benfit for (mostly) non professional use to justify the complexity and additional cost of such feature. 25Hz is the best compromise for compatibility of most fixtures (45.000+) avai...

Re: Varytec Retro Blinder OCTO 380 - Assigning COB LEDs to own group?

dunno if the team is creating special request profiles. Normally they just do "standard" profiles.
best is to do make your own profile via Profile Builder (cloud.nicolaudiegroup.com) - or find somone who can deliver after your request - its individually after all

Re: 1 Year and 3 Months and Counting Waiting For Full Midi

The FLASH buttons are those on the right side of Wolfmix. (Wolf-button, Strobe, Blinder, Blackout, eventually also Smoke) - which will be able to controlled by MIDI in addition to the Preset selection. Preset combining is what most people do when coming from earlier DMX platforms: they create "...

Re: Varytec Retro Blinder OCTO 380 - Assigning COB LEDs to own group?

you want to edit the profile to splt between 1) the 3 background color sections with different beams 1-3 and 2) the 3 amber stripes in the center for separate dimmer and on/off control of the 2 sections. The "Rotation" can then be accomplished by BeamFX, flipping through the 3 background c...

Re: Martin roboscan 918 wont light up

you want to edit the Roboscan 918 profile and edit the Shutter section to (auto) switch the light ON. As this profile was build (from Martin) when we had fader desks, it was not a problem to bring the fader 1 manually from OFF (000) into the ON position. Now the Wolfmix is reading the default value ...
